What We Build
Delivering Power to the Point of Interconnection
Transmission Lines
We build the gen-tie and transmission lines that carry power from the project substation to the point of interconnection. Our crews manage right-of-way clearing, foundation installation, structure erection, and conductor and OPGW stringing.
We pay careful attention to sag, tension, and NESC clearances. Close coordination with transmission owners keeps outages, crossings, and final tie-ins safe and on schedule.
Technical scope
- Structures: steel monopoles, H-frames, lattice towers, and wood poles
- Foundations: drilled shaft concrete, direct embed, and vibratory caisson
- Right-of-way clearing, access matting, and environmental protection
- Stringing and sagging of ACSR, ACSS, and OPGW
- Conductor splicing, dead-ending, and hardware installation
- Gen-tie and interconnection tie-lines to the POI
- Line testing and energization coordination with the utility or transmission owner
